The Sandy Blight Junction road is a remote and adventurous 4WD track connecting the Great Central and Gary Junction roads. Along the picturesque drive, you can visit Australia’s most remote weather station referred to by locals as Giles Weather Station. At the station, you can watch the release of a weather balloon however this must be arranged before arrival. This fantastic track offers drivers the chance to experience the ever changing Australian landscape, from Dessert Oakes to Mulga scrub to open Spinifex plains. It is said that once you have visited this track, you will want to come back over and over again. However, drivers be aware, there are no supplies along this remote track
