Sturt NP has an immense diversity of landscapes: The sandy dunes of the Strezelecki Desert, ancient eroded mesas of the Grey Ranges, gorges, purple gibber plains and Mt King, commonly referred to as the Jump-Ups. The roads are usually well formed with corrugated and bulldust patches. Rain causes closures and slippery conditions. Towing a caravan is only recommended for experienced off-road drivers.
