Outlander overlooking a cliff at Yorkes

Yorkes

Got away on the weekend to Yorke Peninsula in SA where the family's got a shack. The Outlander's great because we could fit all the gear... we were only going away for three days on the long weekend, but with all the space we threw everything that we could think of... including the six string that rarely gets a run, I'm a guitar hack. After a bottle of Annie's Hill on a Saturday night however,  I'm a deadset rockstar.

The picture is near Stansbury overlooking the gulf. There are farms right close to the cliff here with sheep overlooking the ocean. My wife wondered whether the sheep could enjoy the view. Naturally an in-depth conversation on the cognitive power and inner feelings of sheep was to follow. While we didn't solve that one, it did give us something to talk about on the drive home.

The drive over to Yorkes was a lot nicer this year, it's been very dry over the last few years, with the heavens not having shed a teardrop. It's amazing how quickly nature springs back to life with just a little rain.
