MT Mee Trip

A trip with the family into Mt Mee State Forest. The tracks are rough & rocky for most of the trip, with the entire drive taking about 6 hours. We had a laugh as usual, and for those of you who have done the "A Break" on this track - yes, the Oouty made it up & over easily. A couple of other 4WD drivers commented with things like "how did you get here?" Well, exactly the same way everyone else did - by driving the tracks. This drive is a bit much for...

Redbank Plains Day Out

We did this trip over two days, the first day just the NEW Jeep and the Oouty, then the next time we had a lot more vehicles to play in the rouch stuff. As you can see in the video, we found rocky tracks, dirt, and mud - all the makings of a fun day out. The Jeep got stuck (again?!) but this time we managed to get him out without any damage - maybe a little damaged pride? The Oouty performed well again, and once again we all had a...

Mud Glorious Mud

We decided to get out for the weekend on this trip, and explore the tracks in and around the Glasshouse Mountains region. It has been raining during the week, so there was a little mud about, but that made things all that much more interesting. We had a fantastic day out with friends and family, until one of our group decided to cross a creek before checking the depth. After he went through about 1/2 way, the bonnet disappeared under a wall of water, and the engine took a gutload of water. After towing...

The First Family Beach Holiday

A new 4x4, time to get offroad & spend a week at Teewah Beach. Our girls were little, the youngest being 3 months old! The Outtie performed fantastically on the sand - not a problem.
