My story is an old one when my husband and i owned a jeep wrangler we went for a day out with friends on a four wheel drive trip to the blue mountains I had no idea of four wheel driving and sitting in that bumpy dusty jeep i wasnt exactly having a ball.
This was about 20 years ago and we had no mobiles but i think we had cb radios all comunnicating with each other.
I hate heights and recall the terror of racing down one side of a wet muddy gorge to get up the other side.
The eye opener came when we reached a clearing and one friend drove his vehicle up a steep embankment he turned and the vehicle rolled down. I remember giggling and my husband was furious with me. Being new to all this I thought that was what these hoons were all about. No one was hurt and people learned a valuable lesson. And I am glad that 4wd have come such along way since then
