Wow, we did it.
Our 1993 SWB Pajero soft top successfully got us to our goal of Production Class Champions in our rooky year.
Not bad for a right-off brought home from the wreckers to become our work car, family & dog car and race car # 722.
While competing in the Qld Offroad Racing Series, we also did both the Landcruiser Mountain Park Coopers & Expo Series and even fit in the 3 day Yaraka 1000 Rally.
Thats' how tough a Pajero is. Below is the races and placing we did in that year.

I did my off road racing in a 63 Valiant in the 80s, moving onto a class 1 buggy. Now I have the pajero I find myself slipping back into race mode, getting it to land nicely if I hit a bump a bit hard,etc etc. Makes me wish I started with a Pajero rather than mucking about making parts for a vw/datsun space frame vehicle that was supposed to finish. I did have more fun in the Valiant though. Well done on your results, I know how tough the sport is.
