Ayres Rock - Yr 2000
This is Pajero no.1. The one that started it all!
It was our everyday car, competition car, 4wd club car and trip car.
This was our trip to Ayres rock and back through whatever roads weren't flooded out ! It started as a joke for the millenium year (somewhere where satalites don't fall) but then we made it to Birdsville, Coober Pedy, Palm Valley, Ayres Rock, The Olgas, Kings Cannon, Alice Springs, The French Line - Simpson Desert, ............ all in 10 days ............. in monsoon season with servere flooding and roads washed out ! It was the best 4wd trip of our married lives and highly recommend it.
