Perth-Kakadu-Perth

I drove up to darwin last year (2007 June/July) from Perth by myself.
Areas covered were-Exmouth, Broome, Derby, Tunnel Creek Road, halls creek Wolfe Creek crater, Whyndam, Dawin and Kakadu.
one the way back i went to the Katherine Gorges, Bungle Bungles with all the Treks and a chopper ride thrown in! Gibb River Road, Pilbara gorges including Mt Bruce and Wittenoom and then i drove up Mt Mehaary before stopping at Mary Mia station near the Canarvon ranges. (you may have to excuse some spelling). all in all 14000k and what a gear trip! Note:this was a major trip which included many well known side trips. Please see comments below.

Just a quick add on whilst I look at my very quick previous report. I also visited the Bungle Bungles which obviosly was well worth the visit. All these places are. If anyone has any specific questions on any of these areas visited please post comment and will see if I can reply....cheers, Mark
