Near perth...in the hills.
I was by myself on a hike few days ago. i decide to take a detour back to the main drag so that i could get back to perth. After going up a very steep and slow incline where it finally levelled out I looked at the next part of the track which looked in very bad shape and even steeper. I got out, went up the hill and decided to be wise and turn around. A wise bloke told me that a 4wd is to get you there not get stuck. With no winch and some very deep washouts on very steep terrain (at least for a 4wd) I did the wise decision to turn around. this may be a hard judgement to make, but it kept me out of trouble.
