Fraser Island Christening

Well, it was actually a wedding but I Christened my new Pajero on Fraser. I had just upgraded from an NP Pajero after 280000k trouble free motoring including two major outback trips. My photography business called for a wedding shoot at Kingfisher Resort on Fraser Island so with the NS in perfectly standard trim off we went. The wedding was brilliant and after my official duties were complete it was time to explore.
The NS didn't miss a beat, and handled it's off road Christening on the soft tracks and beaches with ease. I hadn't been back to Fraser for quite a few years and it was most enjoyable to check out all the old spots. Clearance was OK but not great on the standard NS and I have since fitted Lovell HD springs which provide a nice 50mm lift whilst maintaining very good ride comfort and handling. It was a quick trip but has whetted the appetite to get back onto Fraser again. It is truly one of Australia's great treasures.
