Marlo / Corringle

I went on a fishing trip with my mate steve to Corringle across the river from Marlo at the mouth of the mighty snowy river.
The system was chock full of Salmon and tailor and while we were casting of the shore and pulling fish upwards of 50 cm ,many boaters tried their luck trolling with limmited success.
The evenings were spent catching bream and horse EP's , of the  fish we kept , all had a layer of fat around its gut. AT night we fished for gummies off the beach and managed a couple , not the trucks we wanted but hey what a trip , after four days we were both ready to go home as our arms were about to drop off .
We caught a total of 112 fish that trip and Corringle is one of my favourite spots , river fishing , estuary and surf all within a short walk from the camp site.
The only down side is there are no showers and the snowy river makes for a cold bath and also the drop dunnies are not my favourite thing.
Definately will be going back , with March the time to be there. Kritter. [ sorry no photos they were deleted, bugger]
