Slade Family at "Little Red" Birdsville
Here's a couple of photos from our recent trip out to Birdsville. Lots of water and wildlife.
We travelled from Brisbane to Roma, Roma to Charleville for a couple of days, taking in the Cosmos Centre and the Bilby Centre. Then we went to Windora for the 3rd SOO and had a great night at the pub with the locals and fellow travellers.
From Windora it was onto Birdsville for a few days, then to Innaminka via Haddons Corner, the Dig Tree and Bourke's grave. Down to Cameron Corner - road was great. Stayed a nite in Tibooburra then back into Qld via the Warry Gate to Noccundra.
Over to Nardoo station north of Cunamulla for a couple of days. Then back to Brisbane. 4,400 km in less than 2 weeks. No problems at all with the Paj. Looking forward to the next trip.
