Our turbo diesel NS Pajero

This is our first 4wd, A 25th Anniversary Pajero.
For comfort, style and inclusions, it leaves the opposition for dead.

The Pajero is far from stock. In it's first year there have been many changes - all for the better:
  • ARB colour coded bullbar with Magnum winch.
  • The original suspension was ditched for an Old Man Emu upgrade.
  • Original tyres replaced with 18" BFG All-Terrains (the price of five of these still haunts me). Had to grind away the cover to make the spare wheel fit, not to mention let all the air out of it. Who carries a flat spare? We do!
  • GME 3440 UHF radio. We also carry a hand held radio for extra communication. It comes in handy on the beach, especially if your mate doesn't have a radio.
  • Brown Davis bash plates have replaced the abysmal originals.
  • Rhino platform rack on 3 heavy duty Rhino bars.
  • ARB awning.
  • Canvas roof top bag custom made by tonnos 'n stuff in Newcastle (www.tonnosnstuff.com.au). Give Dave a call.
  • Long Ranger 60 litre sub tank. Along with 2 jerry cans mounted on the platform rack.
  • IPF Xtreme Sport HID driving lights. Both are spread beam (no spot beam). Does anyone really think they can see 1600m away or would you rather see everything within 200m?
We carry every conceivable piece of recovery gear but the most frequently used is the shovel, a few bucks well spent. It lives on the roof racks next to the ARB awning and is fixed by Rhino shovel clamps. We have removed the third row seats and use the hole in the floor as storage for the recovery gear and ARB air compressor.

The next major addition will be a Kaymar rear bar - currently being developed by Kaymar. Can't wait to get rid of the plastic crap that is only just hanging on.

Hi Neal After the OME upgrade has it increased the overall height of the vehicle? If so, by how much? Kind regards Gary
