Discover amazing colours, fascinating places and some challenging 4WD tracks in the middle of the outback. Mount Ive is a massive 900 square kilometre Merino sheep property situated 200km’s west of Port Augusta right in the heart of the magnificent Gawler Rangers. Run for the last 5 years by Len and Joy Newton, they’ve swung open the gates so that tourists can experience and appreciate the stations’ rugged landscape. Mt. Ive station is a great base to explore the Gawler Ranges and offers full visitor facilities.
 

Accommodation includes shearers quarters, historic stone hut lodgings and a large camping area with powered and non powered sites. If you enjoy self-drive 4WD touring then this place is an ideal location to hone your skills - and the scenery, well it’s simply spectacular.
