Nature's Beauty at Cameron's Corner

When we arrived at Cameron's Corner, it was hot, to hot to set up camp so we had to sit in the pub and have a cooling ale (sometimes you have heed the warnings of the locals) and wait for the temperature to drop. Some ales later, we tried pitching camp but the ground was to hard to peg down properly and so we had an abbreviated set up. Then the storm came, no rain, but wind and dust - all night. We thought we were going to get blown away. As frightening as it was, we would do it all again, you just have to love this country - Queensland.

Mitsubishi Pajero Good to see you drop in, I hope to have lots of photos and be able share lots of stories. I would love to be able to say "Been there done that" and when I do I hope you can join me. Sit back and knock the top of another stubbie and enjoy my page.
