Creek Family Adventures
We’ve been on the road now for three months. We packed up the house, the caravan and our five children to create a special memory – a time the children will look back on and hopefully see things that perhaps they never dreamed of seeing.
People say we were mad, all piling into the Pajero and going away for that long. But we weren’t planning on where we were going - we were just going.
The whole trip has been very much focused on the children. When you have an experience like this it gives you a desire for knowledge or that desire to know more. They’ve got a bit more of a hunger to know. They actually notice the type of tree or a texture or a colour, and they’re identifying those things and flowers. One will go ‘yeah’ and they’ll all get excited about it, and that’s what’s nice and reaffirming to hear cause you know they’re getting something out of it.
