Hi all - well I have joined the Mitsubishi family after having a long relationship with my Hilux's.   Got the GXLR TD with all the gear so hopefully it will be a great vehicle like the old Hilux.   Time will tell but so far it drives, handles & looks great.   First trip is being organised which is to Fraser Island one of our most regularly visited spots.   Should be a good test for the truck in that sand.   Stay tuned to the results of that trip.

Just a short beginning to introduce myself and the new Exodus Camper. Picked it up at Gosford on 6th December and had a quiet run down the NSW coast heading for home. Overnighted at Bulli after dropping down the escarpment and following the spectacular coastal route. We then travelled to finish at Mystery Bay, just south of Narooma and then on Wednesday on to Mallacoota and home to Inverloch on Thursday. Nice gentle start to tours to come.

The evenings were spent catching bream and horse EP's , of the  fish we kept , all had a layer of fat around its gut. Moving to Karratha WA I was told I needed a 4WD. Not knowing anything about 4WD's it was time for some research. Eventually I secured an excellent deal on a White DiD manual GLX Pajero, and had some extras fitted to make the unit more offroad ready. Bull bar and spot lights were a must. UHF radio (which ended up being a life saver) Dual battery setup, BF Goodrich tyre upgrade and Auxilary fuel tank. Now it looked like I knew what I was doing.

Mid '06 with the 4wd club of WA.  Mud Gymkhana competition weekender.  Garage events, cross country and slalom.  All good fun except for the bill after the clean up job under the bonnet !!! It's a great place to start your 4wd drive adventures - within a club !  It's safe with the back up of experienced 4wders, their advice and friendship.  After that , you know a bit about the do's and don'ts, then you can go find your own fun!.
