Bendigo - Perth - Broome - Darwin - Alice Springs & back to Bendigo

We recently returned from a trip Bendigo-Perth- Broome- Darwin- Alice Springs & back to Bendigo. We travelled 18000ks towing a 18'', 2.1 tonne caravan.

Without exception every time we pulled into a caravan park or camp ground our three door pajero towing a full size caravan was always a talking point with the other campers and never failed to raise there curiosity. To the point when we stopped at a camp ground at the devils marbles in the NT a fellow jumped in the drivers seat and told his wife he wanted to buy one before I even had an opportunity to unhitch the caravan!

Our Pajero did the trip without a problem although a larger fuel tank would have been a great help as with towing the caravan, range was substantially reduced requiring us to carry jerry cans of diesel.

A 12volt power outlet in the luggage compartment would also be a good idea.
