An enjoyable 3 weeks, from Adelaide to Gammon Ranges, via Mt Fitton & Lyndhurst to William Creek, Oodnadata, Dalhousie Springs, Finke, Lambert's Centre, Kulgera, Mulga Park (via part of Old Gun Barrel Highway), Ayres Rock, Kings Canyon, Henbury Meteorite site, Rainbow Valley, Stuarts Well, Chambers Pillar and back home via the black top.

All roads were accessible to standard Mitsubishi with off-road camper.  Although a bit rough in some parts, most roads were normal dirt roads with a bit of corrugation chucked in for entertainment.  Weather was wonderful, clear days (18-20 C), although a bit chilly at night.

Some photos of the highlights are provided.

Could have done with an extra two weeks for added relaxation, but leave something for next time.

Australia is such a great place.  It is inspiring to see evidence of the pioneers in this part of the country.

Looking forward to the Kimberlies next year!!

Jan & Bruce
