Hook, Line and Sinker "Classic Catches"
Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the Condition of Entry. By entering the promotion, entrants accept these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Entry is only available to permanent residents of all states of Australia.
  3. The Promoter is HLS Productions Pty Ltd (ABN 901 221 151 302) of 210 Collins Street, Hobart, Tasmania - telephone 0362352603 - through the television program "Hook, Line and Sinker".
  4. "Hook Line and Sinker" will air on Southern Cross Broadcasting and affiliated television stations throughout Australia. Detail of on air times and channels is available on www.hooklinesinker.tv
  5. Employees and immediate families of Macquarie Southern Cross Media, HLS Productions, EvaKool, Mitsubishi Motors and their associated agencies are not eligible to enter.
  6. From Saturday the 9th April 2011 until Saturday the 20th of August 2011, the television program "Hook, Line and Sinker" will be promoting a "Classic Catch" Competition.
  7. The "Classic Catch" competition will be a weekly search for the best fishing catches by viewers which are caught on camera.
  8. Entries for the competition commence at 5.30pm on Saturday, 9th April 2011 and close at 11.59pm on Monday, 22nd August 2011.
  9. To enter the Competition a person must:
    1. Log on to www.hooklinesinker.tv and enter their name, email address and a current phone number on a dedicated 'Classic Catches' competition page of the website
    2. Entrants must also upload 1 x photo per entry (digital photo or scanned photos will be accepted), taken by the Entrant, which should be no larger than 1MB, of a fish that they have caught; and
    3. Provide detail of the location of the catch, the type and size of the fish and the tackle used to catch the fish
  10. The prizes for the promotion are as follows:
    20 x Weekly Prizes of an EvaKool 'Fishing Team' fully insulated 47 litre Fibreglass Icebox RRP $299
    Total Value: $5,980
    1 x Major Prize of $5,000 by way of a cheque made payable to the winner

  11. Total Prize Pool Value $10,980
  12. There is no limitation on the number of entries per person for the weekly prize of an EvaKool Icebox. However, entries for the Major Draw will be restricted to 1 per person.
  13. The weekly prize will be determined by an employee of the Promoter (the 'Judge') which shall be chosen from all entries received up until 11.59pm each Monday, commencing Monday, 11th April 2011 and concluding on Monday, 22nd August 2011.
  14. The weekly prize will be awarded to the Entry that is deemed by the Judge to be the most unique entry (having regard to the type and size of fish and the tackle used to catch the fish). The first weekly draw will be decided at 10 AM on Wednesday, 13th April 2011 at 210 Collins Street, Hobart in Tasmania and thereafter on each Wednesday at that time and place until Wednesday, 24th August 2011.
  15. The weekly winners will be advised by telephone and in writing by 12 noon on the Friday following the close of that week's entries and shall be displayed on www.hooklinesinker.tv from that time.
  16. The Judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. The Major prize will be drawn randomly from entries received during the competition period, with 1 entry per person.
  18. The draw shall take place at 10.00am on Wednesday, 24th August 2011 at 210 Collins Street, Hobart in Tasmania.
  19. A representative of Wise, Lord & Ferguson, Chartered Accountants, will be present at the draw to audit the process.
  20. The winner will be advised by telephone and by mail immediately after the draw.
  21. Details of the winner and the winning Entry will be included on the Hook, Line & Sinker television show which will go to air on Saturday, 27th August 2011 and shall be displayed on the website www.hooklinesinker.tv from the on air time for a minimum period of 4 weeks. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
  22. The winners of the weekly prize and the major prize will be included in the "Public Notices' section of The Australian newspaper on Saturday, 27th August 2011.
  23. In the event of any unclaimed prizes, a "Second Chance Draw" will take place after 90 days at 10am on Friday the 2nd of December 2011 at 210 Collins St, Hobart TAS.
  24. The second chance prize winners will be included in the "Public Notices' section of The Australian newspaper on Friday, 16th December 2011.
  25. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize.
  26. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected Entries.
  27. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to display the entries on www.hooklinesinker.tv and on the Hook, Line & Sinker television program and in any promotional material relating to the program.
